Wet FGD

Wet FGD Systems

Most common are limestone/lime FGDs. The calciumcarbonate reacts with the dissolved sulphurdioxide and forms gypsum.

For such systems an essential value is the Liquid/Gas ratio. This ratio determines the size and energy consumption of the FGD plant.
