Since the late 60's a phenomenom called Large Particle Ash had been observed. Now with an increasing number SCR installations LPA might cause extraordinary problems.
Preventing your SCR catalyst from damage, blockage and malfunction, GTEC provides engineering and CFD calculation of LPA screens. We do not manufacture such screens, but can be of assistance in procuring.
Applicable screens are our own flat screen design and the pleated screen design by Evonik Energy Services, as well as other flat designs by some other competitors. Only the GTEC and the Evonik design offers the lowest pressure drop.
Our engineering staff is busy to devise more designs for improvement.
